Nervous Wreck!

Hi all,
I'm all of a shake,Just come back from our local shop and a stupid kid (the ones we've had trouble with before)has run straight out in front of the car.
I slammed the brakes on and stalled my car,my daughter's head nearly hit the windscreen, now we are expecting repucussions with this family.
I have rung our housing association, who have said it's a police matter, this is the second time this child has done this to us today.
His mother is totally unapproachable, where would I stand legally if I hit this child, they seem to quite enjoy putting the S**** up us!

Take a deep breath and try to calm down. It's a nightmare. One of the girls at work hit a child who ran out in front of her on the way home from work. He was playing chicken! She was a wreck! Hope it all works out ok.

Report it to the police, they need to know, they may take action. Thing is you will not be the only one they do this too and one day someone will hit them, at least the police will know it was not the drivers fault.

Some kids will never learn, and it's you who gets in to trouble because there being silly in the road I used to live in a rough street and the kids would walk straight out in front of me and then stand there and laugh Luckily i moved to a lovely quiet area but i know how your feeling

{{{hugs}}} to you
