I went shopping this morning early into the village shops and how stupid is this, what I wanted that was shown in a window display they don't sell. Daft.

Morning duty again today. Got to the main road and major wild up cause apparently was a car on fire. Turned round and went the alternative rout. Thank goodness there is one. Tip run done and so is the housework. Coffee and paper work sorted. I have been trying to buy 200 led battery operated Christmas lights. No one round here sells them. I have therefore had to order them on line so the shops lose out!

Dave is slightly better this morning. At least he's forced down egg on toast and drank half a glass of orange juice

Ted and me on our own again for our outing. For the first time I went for a breakfast alone. i don't know why I've never done it before to be honest. Usually when Dave is ill, I just skip breakfast altogether

A bitter, bitter wind this morning. Ted has decided that he doesn't like it this cold so after a reasonable walk, he asks to come up to snuggle in. Who can blame him?
