Black pudding

Has anyone ever used Black pudding as a training treat? Do dogs like it? and would you feed it raw or cooked?

Thanks

I would think black pudding it is ok to feed but it does contain a quantity of salt so I would use it sparingly.

It is already cooked to some extent in the making process so could be fed as it comes.

Would the onions in it not cause any potential issues?

I use to fee it in small quantities to Ollie for training.
I do think it would need to be used sparingly though.

I wouldn't have thought so if it is only being used as a training treat .

I once looked up how much garlic (more concentrated than onion) was dangerous for dogs to eat and it was 15 to 30g per kg of dogs weight .

There are good alternative training treats out there like dried liver, kibble, cheese I would personally stick to those .
