Thank you! Pereg is actually a very healthy 4½ year old dog who just happens to be epileptic. That is something that I accept and have to live with, as do thousands of other owners of epi dogs. But when she is sick, as she was with the attack of pancreatitis, there is always that worry that the treatment might trigger more seizures, because there is always that unknown...

She has only ever had antibiotics once before, and that was before her epilepsy started - no connection - I think it was more the dog attack that led to her needing ABs for the puncture wounds that needing stapling that had more to do with it - or maybe not? Who knows with Idiopathic Epilepsy. So with the ones she had this last week there was no knowing how her body would react.

But she is fine - at this moment she is fine. And I treasure every seizure-free day she has - and she is now on Day 9...

So pleased for you.

Hugs to you both from me and Loki xx

Like you said at the end - treasure every seizure-free day, in fact, treasure every day xx

Another one that missed this thread, and has Phill said treasure every day we never know what is around the corner. Give Pereg a big cuddle.
