Hope the news today isn't as bad as you fear it will be.

Hope you get some good news when you take Pereg to the vet today & that you had. Good night with her.

Pereg got me up every two hours in the night for a pee, having a huge drink of water on the way out and also on the way back, but I will not restrict her access to water unless Ram tells me to. She also threw up in the night and then sometime between 7am and 8am [I had desperately tried to get more sleep] she had pee'd on the bed in her sleep and was laying in it.

Came into the salon and she had pee'd on the carpet as well.

Now not only the swellings inside both front legs above her elbows now, but the whole of both her front legs are swollen and so is her tummy. But she has been poo'ing OK - small firm poos but then that is all she ever does - so I do not think she has a blockage anywhere. Big fights to get her pills into her though which has never happened before.

We have a vet appointment at 1.30pm and Ram will take blood and it will be tested while we wait, as he has the equipment for doing all but specialised blood tests [ie Pb level and Thyroid] at the surgery. Her kidney function levels were perfect at the end of April so at least we have something to make a comparison with, but all symptoms lead back to renal failure - not just a simple UTI.

I hope I am wrong and ask for as many special Dogsey vibes for my beloved girl as you can spare.
