Now I'm bl@@dy furious

... at the little furry b******s infesting Snorri Mansions. Mrs S shifted all the edibles to a high cupboard, to get it out of reach - successful!

BUT - starved of easy pickings, the wee s**ts are going farther afield and have attacked our store of dog biscuits and treats. They have helped themselves to Bonios, Shapes, Markies, Bakers Sizzlers, Lidl Gerodog meaty strips (*), Winalot Health Hearts, Bakers Allsorts - everything, in fact.

Either we have carnivorous mice, or these "sweeties" don't contain much meat

I sat and estimated how much we were likely to lose, then went online and ordered a sonic/electromagnetic rodent repeller (guaranteed to get rid of all sonic or electromagnetic mice ). From the dire predictions on the website, this appears to be the equivalent of going nuclear (confirmed by the staff at my Friday day centre).

If the thing works (the principle is sound, anyway), it means that we won't be killing the wee sods (except by driving them out into the cold), and the TZBCs will not have to embarass themselves by running away from the corpses.

If it works, I'll let you know!

Snorri

I am slightly curious, what is TBCZ. Although the idea of blooming great BC's running away from a weeny wee mousy does make me snigger...

I found I had little visitors a few months ago, I got rid of them and within weeks they were back. So got one of the sonic deterrants and not seen one since, doesn't seem to bother the girlies which is something I was concerned about.

My brother (who until recently) lived in an old stone gatehouse in Ireland used a sonic device and it worked well.

If you like I could drop off a few demon cats !

We used to have mice, actually we still do but they stay behind the skirting boards now.

Solution: We got a cat

We now have 3 if you want to borrow one, excellent mice catchers!

TZBC = Twighlight Zone Border Collie

Twighlight Zone is where Snorri lives (Orkney Islands)

HTH

Snorri - hope your sonic repellent works
