Anyone do it?
Blow dry, irons or chemical and how long does it last?

I've got the ceramics but rarely use them as my hair is straight anyway, but they give a great shine and silkiness to your hair. my friend uses them every day as he hair is long but curly and hers will stay in all day. You must make sure you spray your hair first with a special protector or shine spray and make sure the hair is completely dry! Don't know about the chemical bit but they do it at Toni & Guy's, but don't know how long it lasts - sorry. Good luck if you're going to try it for the first time, you will love the texture of your hair afterwards, sooooo shiny!

Mine is exceptionally curly (Nicole Kidman before she straightened) and sometimes I want to go straight - use GHDs but the hair goes really dry eventually and breaks and in this weather it is pointless - big puffy frizz.

No-one's chemicaly straightened then, eg Japanese straightening?

I have naturally curly hair but every now and again when Im at the salon I get them to straighten it, it feels really weird (a lot thinner) but looks so shiny, people like my hair straight but prefer it curly

i have naturally curly and frizzy hair!
i rarely straighten it, it takes too long and doesnt last. and i hate wearing it down anyway, so i tie it up.

I have straighteners, and also have some spray called 'straight sexy hair', theres a straight aero, which i use after ive washed my hair cos it stops it drying frizzy, then theres another one which ur meant to use after uve straigtened ur hair to stop it frizzing i think
