Amber (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever) 11 Weeks

Well, she was 11 weeks on wednesday! She went to her first ringcraft class yesterday and behaved perfectly. I didn't bother about getting her to stand too much, but she ran really nicely next to me and she LOVED all of it!! The tail didn't stop wagging!!

Do you know if she will stay that pale colour? I think she is very pretty but I have never seen a duck toller so light coloured

Thanks everyone She is very cute and has the most adorable smile!! She's such a happy dog!!!

She will go darker, and already has in the short time we've had her. They can come in all shades, but they usually are quite pale as puppies. She wont be very dark, but we think she may end up a similar colour to her dad, Tom, who is on the picture on the right side of this page :

I had originally wanted a very dark one as they apparently do better showing due to the white/red contrast but they can be a bit too dark i guess. I think Amber's dad is a fairly nice colour though
