Skyes zig-zag fur.

A few days ago i noticed a zig-zag pattern on her back, I have no idea what is causing it. She is combed every couple of days. It is not a major problem and it does look quite cool but i just wondered what it is.

Many dogs have thicker hair down their spin resulting in either a mane type look, or like Skye a zig zag kind of ridge pattern.

Skye (my Skye) does that thing where they lie on their back and wriggle from side to side - leaving the hair on his back all scruffed up. I wondered if your Skye did the same.
