PHEW! You must be so relieved to have her back home Mo, that could have been disasterous, but thank goodness she's pulled through it. Very, very scarey for you, you're right to make a big fuss of her tonight, you could have lost her

Blimey - what a fright!! Thank goodness Savannah was okay though.

I remember years ago, when I was a child on my grandparents farm, one of the sheepdogs got hold of my sister's inhaler and was running around the farmyard throwing it around and then when he crunched on it, it exploded!! Luckily, he wasn't hurt.

Thanks for the warning and I am so glad there was a happy ending.

Glad your girly is ok now.
Thanks for posting this warning as many households have asthma inhalors and its so easy to just leave them laying within a dogs reach without a second thought.
We will definatly be more careful from now on.

Thank heavens she is okay

I am so pleased it is a happy ending for you both, this post does serve a good reminder to anyone who does have inhalers in the house, let us please put them all away out of reach!

You poor thing, what a shock you must have had. Was it a Ventolin inhaler? It can have effects on the central nervous system and the heart, among other things, so you'd expect to see the nervousness and rapid heartbeat or palpitations.

Thank God she is okay now anyway and it's a good warning too - especially for those of us with dogs who find it amusing to run off with your things.

Oh Mo, I have just seen this post, it's really worrying, I have been using 3 inhalers daily on a regular basis, for years now. It never crossed my mind that Millie could get into problems if she got one. I am so, so glad that Savanna is doing well. Believe me I shall take more care of mine in the future. (I never mentioned Patch because he wouldn't bother, If he was any more laid-back, he'd fall over!!) Love to Savanna.
Best Wishes,
AnneXX
