Crufts BIS

I have just received my advanced ticket booking form for BIS at Crufts next March. I have often fancied going, anybody been?

I think you get a better view on the TV.

I have had tickets but gave them to someone else.
If I am there with dogs Loads of people watch it on the big screen in Hall 1. We can stay with our dogs and on terrier day certainly we all take food and drink and have a bit of social while watching the groups and if on Sunday BIS as well.

I have never managed the courage to actually not buy a parking ticket but by time I get out the barriers are all up and everyone is free to just drive out.

I was there late one year waiting for Ben Fogle and Claire Balding to use Twiggy live on one BBC broadcast before group judging which meant we did not leave until nearly 9 pm. She had been shown and spent the day on a trade standard demoing clicker training.

I nearly lost the will to live then, so I am not sure I could hang around for BIS.

I texted everyone to record it for me, so I ended up with 6 videotapes of her.

It is a lovely souvenir.
