Facial blisters, very worried

My 6 year old cross breed bitch has developed an irritation, which has spread from across her nose, in the shape of blisters, to her lips and up her nose.

They look like cold sores.

She has been to the vet, had a biopsy, which we are waiting the results of. Her bloods are fine.
They are obviously itchy, as she pulled the buster collat ( and her collar) off to get to scratch them, which only made the bleed.

Has anyone ever heard of anything similar, she is not a happy girl.

Not had any experience, but things to look at that you may not have already are any changes in her diet, changes in cleaning stuff you use, new items such as bedding and changes in the places you walk her.

If there have been any changes in any of these areas, perhaps an allergy or intolerance could be the cause?

Thanks. We had a diagnosis of Eosinophilic Furunculosis.

She as been treated on steroids and antibiotics, and has nearly recovered.

It is thought to occurr following an anthropoid sting or bite, it is said to be self limiting, but I don't know how anyone could leave it unattended!
