Music late 70's early 80's

Okay everyone I need a little help a very very good friend of mine is getting married at Gretna Green in August. And having a blessing and party in Sept and the theme for the party is 70's 80's music, so any ideas appreciated I have been given the job of music so I need suggestions to for them to decide from and then pass them to the DJ

What songs did you dance around your handbags too? Looking for songs that get people up on the dancefloor or really smoochy songs to be played towards the end of the evening.

So please help!!!!!

Karen

Shouldn't really admit to this but we went to an 80's party not long ago. I went as Toni whatserface (Oh Mikey your so fine) and Pj went as the lead singer out of Cameo (word up) LOL

Don't know about dancing round handbags, I had to dance AROUND Pj 'cos his red cod-piece stuck out about 8 or 9 inches!!!

You've just gotta have Dancing Queen by Abba! Also Jingo (think that's how you spell it), ooh yeah and a bit of Reggae should go down a treat!
