I know what you're all thinking - "But it's just a spatula". Essentially yes it is but this bad boy will get every last remnant of any mixture out of the pan/bowl resulting in minimum wastage and easier washing up!

My next one would probably have to be my food processor purely for the time it saves for slicing potatoes for dauphinois or grating cheese. I also have a mini one for making curry pastes etc.

My last one is my chopping board - my mum gave it to me when we bought our first house and everyone always comments on it when they come round. It's a massive solid piece of wood, i nearly dropped it on my foot once and can easily say it would've crushed my foot!!
but then how will you ever get to lick out the bowl!!!?????

Forgot about my chopping board. I love mine too. It's a butchers block from typhoon and is the heaviest/meatiest thing. I love it!

Funny thing too, being a veggie ;o)

The door. It allows me to leave the dreaded place

Um...if I really have to choose then I guess the casserole dish that was my grandmas but that's more sentimental value than anything coz I still hate cooking.

Probably my Magimix food processor, I was highly miffed when the old one gave up the ghost after 25 years of abuse.

I got one of those last year, I really liked the way they "light up the kitchen"
sadly I have had no success with it & seem to burn everything, it's now tucked away in the cupboard with the smoothie maker, breville, George Foreman & numerus other gadgets
The only I'd be lost without is the kettle

My favourite thing is the water grill that we bought in Turkey quite a few years ago. I have never seen one for sale here and will be very upset when it eventually dies.
