My Darling Baby-Ashleigh Moglet

Once in a while, the most special of Special Needs moglets is born.
Your survival at birth was a miracle, everything was against you, but you fought to live,
and live is what you did, to the full.
While the problems you were born with never held you back, never stopped you playing and being one of the happiest little cats I`ve ever known,
I knew that your health problem would always be quietly lurking in the background to come back eventually take you from me.
You let me know you were ready to go today.
Your final illness was so sudden I think it was your way to let me know you did`nt want me to fight for you this time, and I am grateful that the end for you was peaceful and without pain, while you slept one last time in my arms.
My regret for you is that though your blindness never stood in your way, it meant you could never see the love in my eyes for you every day I was blessed to have you with me these past years, the awe I had for you, and the understanding that I knew it was your time.

You were Pillow-Cats favourite, I know you missed her when she left us, our grand old lady, but she will meet you now, waiting for you at the Bridge to take you to the rest of our family who went before you.

Willow especially miss you being with us, you were his bestest friend, and I am utterly bereft with loss, my sweet Baby-Baby.




I will hold on tight to the wonderful memories you leave me with and the knowledge that I was priveliged to be the one to get to love you Baby Ashleigh, through the many years of joy you brought me.
Never was One In A Million more true.

Go with my love, follow the river of my tears leading you to where Pillow-Cat awaits you, until we are together again my precious little girl.
