Jin the future flyball superstar!!

Jin and I have joined a flyball club. We don't 'train' but go for the free socialisation. There is another pup that goes that is only 3 weeks younger than Jin and they love each other!

Anyways, Jin and the other younger dogs get to have a play in the lane, chase balls and learn its a great place to be.

This weekend, we went camping with the team. It was awesome!

My friend and I took the pups down to the practice lane so they could have a play and a professional photographer took Jins photo.

Believe it or not, even though Jin is the oldest, the other female puppy is the boss!

Age doesn't always mean they are the boss, when Sadie isn't here Louie (1) is the boss and Benjie ( will move out of his way if he wants to pass.. Sadie (10) is the boss overall though..

She looks like a natural - I hope you do get into it - Maybe we'll see you at Crufts one year

Well, I have been to my first show and really enjoyed it.... being around bonkers doggy people, Jin hacing an amazing time playing and being so good..... I just cant wait to have a go at the racing!

Jin is very ball focused (well, any toy actually) so I dont think training her should be too hard. Our club is quite new and still expanding.

I would love to go to crufts one day!

In fact, I am sending off my BFA form tomorrow I'll get to do ring party at our next show..... this show I was just learning how everything worked and some of the racing rules.

My club are fab though.... none of them are harsh to their dogs, its all positive reinforcement and they never run a dog that isn't interested. We all do it for fun! (which you can probably tell, as we're usually in the lower divisions- we let everyone have a go!).

She's short legged too! Bless her..... I swear her dad must have been Tigger!

I tried Sadie with flyball - she touched the box twice then decided it was too noisy for her liking I want to try Louie but he wouldn't be fast nor graceful and is far too interested in other dogs than a ball..
