Thank you you lovely people! We are already proud of him, in spite of his poor battered head. (Probably why nobody else wanted him, coupled with his age). Trouble is, most of the photos so far are of him asleep! Here are two more anyway.

The angry pink skin in the above pic has now calmed right down thank goodness. Wafcol salmon and potato has done the trick!
