(Part5) Get a quote from RSPCA Pet Insurance, and add it to this thread :)

...due to popular demand I have hunted down some more of these for you Here's part five!

Previouisly we've had a similar thread on Pet Pals pet insurance and similar thread on Halifax pet insurance and another on More Than pet insurance, and another for Direct Line, where we wondered how the quotes would vary from person to person / breed/area etc, this time we can try:

RSPCA

(When I put my tel number in I usually just make one up as I don't want any phone calls 07779123456 )

If you go through the quote let us know what you were quoted Might be handy to mention the age and breed of your dog too along with what other prices you were quoted previously.

As you might have noticed from their ad, 20% of the premuim goes to help fund the RSPCA...

Male Utonagan, 2 years 3 months.

Annual Premium including Insurance Premium Tax (where applicable)
GOLD £383.21
SILVER £337.24

Will not cover pre-existing illnesses.

I put in that his vax are up to date, although we only had PI and Lepto done this year as the vax gives immunity for 3 years.

Was quoted £406.41 = £33.87 (gold)

Previous quotes were:

Pet Pals £19.06
Direct Line £14.70
More Than £13.59
Halifax £16.39

Star was £293.62 = £24.47 (gold)

Pet Pals £21.78
More Than £15.99
Direct Line £15.82
Halifax £16.01

Underwritten by AXA who seem to think that young male boxers are a high risk

Morethan wouldn't even insure us because they insisted Utes were wolf hybrids

Would not even consider the silver as it did not cover much and the Gold was

Rye 3yrs 1 month Borzoi £205.18 per annum
pellow 1yr 11 months Borzoi £256 per annum

I thought this was really high in comparison to the others and I cannot understand why Pellow the younger of the two is dearer than Rye.
