I saw a programme on bravo which featured uk dog fighting. I was amazed by the length people go through to keep the dogs in fighting shape.

You see these kinda people around all the time now . Having as much publicity against them can only be a good thing ...

The last documentary that was shown on dog fighting I watched. I did umm and aah about whether I should or not because it is something that really, really upsets me (as I am sure it does everyone on here). The programme showed the sorts of evil people that do this and it was sympathetic to the dogs, who are the victims of this 'sport'.

Hopefully this new programme will be just as sympathetic to the dogs involved and, imo, anything where the scum involved are named and shamed can only be a good thing.

The programme synopsis does not mention "fighting dogs".

The programme will not focus on the 'sport' of dog fighting but rather on the media-hyped worries about the use of dogs as weapons (attack dogs) and, obviously, it wouldn't make good tv to conclude that there isn't much of an issue.

Since bullbreeds make lousy attack dogs the inclusion of pitbulls in the synopsis looks worryingly like senstaionalism and I do not share Kruse's optomism.
