Very dodgy ground this one isn't it. They're saying what the parents want won't work, but what the specialists want to do is very invasive and I can understand why the parents want to go down the other route.
Just had a phone call, there IS a drain on my car battery, he's found it and fixed it. New plugs are going in and he's going to test it tomorrow to see if there is anything else.
Amazing what can be achieved when you walk the talk eh

Oh June so glad he has found the drain on your battery, I expect it was like mine which was the security system draining it away. I do hope now it wont be long before you get your car back. Is he going to drive it over to yours so you can run him back?

June, I have no confidence in the consultants there, the dad had done so much research on the internet comparing different sites and he is convinced from what he has observed that his son may stand a chance with this new drug. He has property in spain he was prepared to sell to finance this work and that is why he fled to spain. Checoslavakia apparently have this machine and can do this operation if he has the money and it stands a good chance of sorting little Ayshars problems out.

No I'm going to have to do the train/tram/bus thing.
I think my friend will ask her boss if I front up there that she can drop me over to the guy, he's doing a job on one of the works vans for them at the moment as well, which is apparently far more difficult than my 'unsolvable' problem
I'm really tired, going to have a lie down with my book before girly teas and my tea
Michael Flatley is on tonight after the 10pm news on ITV, first time on stage for 10 years, so I fancy watching that, but if I don't have an hour now I'll sleep through it

Good afternoon all...

It seems to have been a busy weekend and at some times a sad weekend for some, so sorry things are not good for some xx

Flippin Brilliant news on TW's car!!! soon be home and all will be forgiven when you go off on your jaunts with it. Sorry to see Helena's PC blew up I couldn't do without my laptop, so it's another one for laptops and not Ipads.

Hope you are OK LS, I'm sure Micheal will be fine, although it may take a few days for the tissues to run out xx Pleased he has some trousers.

Well, what a flippin weekend I had I cleaned the filter on the washing machine and it washed about five loads then it spewed water all over the kitchen floor while I wasn't looking I hadn't tightened the clip and it vibrated off. I started my laptop and it had been hacked!!! dont know how, but had a virus and it took me most of the day to sort it, but I did have problems last week if you remember, with the "d" not working Have also got a tiny silkie chick in the front bedroom under a heat lamp. It's got pneumonia but we are trying to give it a chance. It's still eating drinking and pooing. I couldn't get on line to find out the best way to treat it and with it being a saturday afternoon the vets are closed with emergency only..... but now giving it garlic in the water and still got the heatlamp on, so fingers crossed and some of those Dogsey vibes once again please xx THEN in the early hours of yesterday, I was so ill with stomach pains and was sitting on the loo for over two hours Eversuffering husband din't even miss me and didn't wake up So I could have keeled over on the loo and he wouldn't have found me till morning But felt fine when i got up

We went to look at a Jag for him and it turned out to have an engine fault, so came home and took the dogs out. He has now gone off but is on holiday friday, so will be home for three days

Weather is drizzlying here and very wet. Got loads to sort, but really cant be bothered today, so will get sorted and do it tomorrow instead, if I feel like it

Will nip in later, but right now it's time for me to go and sit with my chick and give it some water and something to eat, what is it they say
"what dont kill you, makes you stronger"....
think I must be in the running for Hercules now

When my daughter was a baby and in the Royal National Orthopaedic hospital in Stanmore getting her hips "fixed" [started when she was 13 months old], in between surgeries when she was in a full body cast from armpits to toes my husband and I were allowed to take her out to a local restaurant on a Sunday for lunch.

But we had to have written permission each time from the ward, which was checked before we were allowed to go out through the gates, and we had to state exactly where we were taking her, for how long, and when it was agreed we had to take her back.

And her consultant had had to give his permission for the ward to permit us to take her out.

Elaine, all crossed for the little chick, he/she's doing well still in there batting so not given up on themself.
Eugh No NOT the flaming washer as well now, have you upset some all powerful Deity or something.
Whatever it was you got rid of it good and proper, could have ended badly like Elvis though, so shame on your OH never noticing you'd taken up residence on the loo.
Definitely Hercules is your middle name, whole thing would fall apart without you there running about propping stuff up
