Millie, female Patterdale, DOB 06.10 Gatwick, West Sussex
Millie, Patterdale, DOB 06.10 Gatwick, West Sussex
Homing Requirements: Millie needs a terrier proof garden, exit management and extender lead exercise. Millie could live with another dog as long as her own has managed 2 dogs before or she would adore being an only dog.
Video:Millie walking in Autumn
Her Story: Millie was a tad too terrier for her owner. Millie attended basic training classes, accepted a Labrador x Spaniel pup into her life and lived with an elderly cat but cats are not recommended. Millie got out of an insecure garden and got in amongst the neighbours free range chickens and caught a couple. Was homed briefly with another terrier but a dog walker transported them in the back of a van in the same crate and they had a fight going over a road bump and Millie lost her home! Spayed, vax'd and chipped. Millie is kennelled in Surrey, West Sussex.
Advert: Millicent not so innocent! She is accomplished with dogs inside her home and outside. Millie explores the full scope of the extender lead on her walks and is very interested in this and that, and not trustworthy off lead due to chase/prey drive and no road sense. Millie lived with teenagers and she meets young children well but they would have to be trustworthy ref not leaving gates or doors open. Travels well in a crate or secured in the passenger seat.
Millie is 3 year old Patterdale, half pint size 12" to the shoulder. A mink brown smooth haired girl in good health and has always been well treated. She needs a terrier aware family. Could settle with caged small furries/chickens if in a secure area & safely managed. Housetrained and can be left. Millie is on the whole attuned to her owner and a little poppet inside her home. Outside Millie focused on 'rustles and movements'
