I live in devon and i don't think it's that wet? It does have lots of bizarre microclimates though, so i might just be in a good one!

I know this part of Essex is mean't to be one of the driest parts of the country (although I am questioning that at the moment ) They reckon our hosepipe ban will last into next year even with all the rain we have had recently. They said we will need a very wet summer, autumn and winter before there will be enough water to get it lifted.
I am surprised Glasgow is not the wettest place. An elderly lady I cared for originally come from Glasgow and everyday we would watch the forecast and it was always pouring down there. It become a daily joke between us.

Lives in Essex, Suffolk and Kent... They are quite sunny, Kent in particular... but when it rains, it does pour here. Surprised the rest of UK isn't flooded if thats the case!
