First one. I think they are slightly more classic, whereas the more fashionable second ones will look dated far quicker.

I have exactly those cupboards and the handles in pic 1 I've only been in my new house 2 months and caught my clothes on them once or twice when i first moved in as i wasn't used to them,but haven't seemed to recently (think i'm used to them now) I like both handles looks wise though

First one. I think it goes better with the straight edges of the worktop and the cabinet's shaker style moulding.

No. 1 looks nicer but my experience is that they are harder to keep clean, more likely to catch your sleeves on etc.
