great pics, had a bit of a moment when I saw Rip, thought it was R I P, glad I was wrong, what sort of sheep are they, never seen anything like them before, there lovely, Rip seems to be doing well, very professional, has he been doing this long?

Thanks for the nice comments - when I sent the link I didn't consider people might think R.I.P!! Oops!

The sheep are Herdwicks - they are the best sheep in the world

Rip was part-trained when I bought him, but has never driven sheep and is not yet on whistles. He is a real angel to train though, and very rarely puts a paw wrong.

I am hoping to trial with him at the end of the year.

Wow - where did you work? What made you give up?

My boyfriend is a shepherd and later this year I will be his assistant
