Bonny, Staffie, DOB 2001-2002
Bonny, Staffie, DOB 2001-2002
His Story Bonny is just losing his second home as he reaches middle age because he apparently is no longer comfortable around one of the 3 cats he lives with. He needs a family home where he can regain his confidence and enjoy life.
Salient points Bonny has always lived with cats, but in the last few months has apparently shown less tolerance. Bonny was fostered with dogs, but the owner states that he isn't so good now. Bonny is proven around children, but if homed with them then perhaps he should live with respectful older children.
Advert Bonny is a small compact Staffie. He was originally raised with 'his cat', but when he lost his home he was separated from his cat to live in with 3 cats. He has been living successfully with 3 cats for 5 years, but his owner says he has started to snap at one of the cats and she wants him to find a new home. Bonny socialised well with dogs, but over the past few years he has lost his confidence with dogs too. Pleased to say his owner says he continues to socialise very well with her grandchildren of all ages who spend a lot of time at her house. Bonny is neutered and chipped. Currently in Mitcham, Surrey.
Bonny was homed by us 5 years ago and we remember him so well as an exceptional small Staffie who was an all rounder. He was homed to a single lady who had lost her old dog and loved her son's Staffie. We do not think it will take him long to regain his confidence as the skills were there and he needs to be moved through to regaining his former fluency if that is possible ... we hope it is. Such a loving dog who now appeals to us to find him a home where he is loved and can begin to redevelop his competencies and enjoy the company of people and children.
