I'm an R&B, soul, ballad man myself.

I was obseesed with Whitney Houston for over 15 years (I've seen her in concert seven times). However, in recent years her decline has been huge...drugs didn't help!

Now, Leona Lewis is my number one...the next Whitney

Other stuff I like...Alicia Keys, Luther Vandross, Mariah Carey, Frank Sinatra etc etc

Well, OH is a guitarist so it's mostly rock in our house both old classic rock and the new. I'm also into new country though, part of being Canadian that! Mostly anything goes in our house, not much we don't like

OK, I know this thread is donkey's years old, but I just found it!

Snorri Mansions contains approximately 1000 CDs, the vast majority being classical. Amongst the non-classical may be found:

Eric Clapton
Led Zeppelin
Focus
Aerosmith
The Who
Small Faces
Deep Purple
Yes
Genesis
Procol Harum

I mess about with a guitar, too (12-string) and used to play in a lot of pub folk sessions, so I have some folky stuff as well.
I remember an afternoon spent trying to accompany Aly Bain (the Shetland Fiddler) - trying to keep up with his key-changes was like running a marathon!
