Ooh this is gonna sound quite sad, but
Chicago - Hard Habit to Break, reminds me when my first dog Sam died
Diana Ross - Aint No Mountain High Enough, reminds me when my last setter died.
Elton John - Daniel, reminds me of my little brother who died.
LeAnne Rimes - How do I Live? reminds me of my late Grandad
Roy Orbison - In Dreams, reminds me of my wonderful Grandma who died of bowel cancer when I was a month past my 16th birthday
There are a few others, but I won't list them as I will start crying...

Just thought of another -
don't laugh....

'Beautiful' by Christina Aguilara (sp!) I listened to it when my ex boyfriend finished with me all the time as I felt so rubbish about myself

Also, the whole of the alex parks album, the first one, and evanesence "My Immortal" and "hello"

Reminds me of when I was at uni and my first gf was being horrible to me and I was really down about it

Songbird by Eva Cassidy

It's the song I had played at my Mum's funeral last year, and that's the last time I heard it too, although it sits on my desktop in my mp3's, I just can't do it yet.

Incidentally, she also sung the Fields of Gold song from the cancer research ads, as Eva herself died before her time of cancer.

You can find out about her here.... there are probably lots of songs you've heard but never realised they were by her....
