oh i almost 4got status Quo,how i love them,ofcourse i grew up with all the 70's and 80's music,my parents used to listen to it all the time.
i also luv micheal jackson(not a band i no),
but i also luv the jackson 5.
oh,my list could go on,sorry guys,i HATE duran duran,there the worst!

They're not really what you would call an '80's band' but during the 1980's I was really into Iron Maiden.

ZZ Top created the majority of their hits in the 80's Helen and kinda went a bit quiet in the 90's onwards.

I forgot another group which i still think are fantastic-Tears for fears! Watch this video of them playing accoustic a few years back.They maybe older now,but still sound great!

IMO, the only band from the era that didn't make the eighties 'the decade when all good "popular" music died'.

Of course, Fleetwood Mac weren't an 80s band, unless you count the tarted-up, watered down version with Lindsay Buckingham - you should have seen/heard the original group, with Peter Green as the front man/lead guitarist.

I preferred the days before, when bands didn't need to make a video like an ad for disposable nappies* to make their mark!

*And, just like the nappy, full of s****
