Just wanted to mix it up a bit with what I feel is THE most haunting song:

"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack. That song just
gives me the chills. It is just so haunting. It was used very effectively
in the Clint Eastwood movie "Play Misty For Me". Great, great song.
