Dirty Blog

Knew the title would make you lot look LOL

OK what were you all up to at 3 this morning? Tucked up in your nice warm comfy beds dreaming of nice things no doubt. Well guess what I was doing? Has something to do with unlocked doors, Harvey and a very muddy garden.

After dragging myself off the sofa after falling asleep watching telly at 1ish I noted the dogs were all snoring away scattered round the house so thought I'd leave them and hit the sack. Was woken at 3am by Harvey trying to get under the quilt so I let him in and cuddled up to him. Why was he all wet? why was he panting? and why oh why could I feel wet goo in the bed? I jumped out of bed and went into the bathroom, looked in the mirror to see a dirty great big paw print on my cheek. On pushing the bedroom door open I could see my bedding mired in mud with a tired looking Harvey staring at me, I swear he was grinning.

I went down stairs to find the kitchen door wide open and a scene which looked like the All Blacks had had a kick around in my kitchen. It didn't end there, Harvey had had a whale of a time playing out then circuiting the house. It took me over an hour to clean all the mud and grass off everything and by the time I finished I was filthy, freezing and not a happy chappy

OH got up and asked why he had a tuft of muddy grass stuck on his leg, I just told him its best he doesn't know.

I will never again forget to lock the kitchen door.

Omg, what a nightmare, I know just what you mean by that sticky mud, yuk. I can just imagine Harvey charging about in excitement, what a great game to have with mummy in the early hours.

Sorry, but that's made me chuckle. I can imagine you weren't happy but i'm having visions of dog pawprints on the ceiling.
I'm sure in time you will look back and laugh too
