2 years ago my sons and husband had chicken pox:

First our eldest, then 5, came down with it. Then as he was recovering youngest, then 3, came down with it. The next day Kev got it. I was getting through Calamine Lotion like mad!!

Awwww thanks everyone. He's covered in spots now and had a bad night!!!! Hoping we're getting towards the end of it now!!! Had his mate round to play yesterday as he's got it too...they were so chuffed to be out in the sunshine when their friends were in class!!!!!

Hiya -poor little mite ..Bicarbonate of Soda in the bath water helps to dry the spots quickly and so stop the itch
My 12 yr old has had a funny spotty rash up his arms this week I think he's had a mild dose ( he's had it before )

Hope your 12 yr old is ok Murphy, there's a lot of it about!
Have done the bicarbonate of soda baths and he looks like an aborigine he's got that much camomile lotion on!!!! OH is at Boots asking about Eurax cream that soemone said their nurse had suggested.... poor thing he's suffering a bit today bit is tired...awwwwww

healing vibes on the way, mine had it when they were very young, all in the nappy area it was awful, i then got it to when i was 23, i remember going to the door and the bloke had come to read the lecki meter, he took one look at me with my calamine lotion on said chicken pox i said yes and he turned round and walked away i was so embarrassed, hope they are better soon

He had a bad day yesterday but is on the mend (touch wood!) today! Still has no appetite but had a better nights sleep and is more perky this morning! Bless!!!! Spots seem to be at the scabbing over rather than scary big angry blistery stage.... Now have to handwash his pyjamas as they're covered in alamine lotion and the washing machine blew up yestereday!!!!!! Never rains.....
