I think you'll just know when you meet her!

My pup was called Ivy because all she wanted to do was scramble up things and it reminded me of an old fashioned girls' name, that sort of sounded a bit mischevious and naughty but still very girly.

I hadn't even considered that name until she scrambled up onto my knee and I just said, "We'll call you Ivy"

Wait til you really get a feel for her character and you've seen her in the litter a few more times, rather than focussing on her colour or what she is going to do for a 'living'

Chaya, in Ivrit, means "Life". [The Ch pronounced as the Scottish Loch]. It is a lovely name.

You could look for a theme on your dogs nature....
Etel.....means loyal and noble friend
Isis...
Lela....means loyalty

Or in my case I let my son (18 at the time) name my girl......Daisy, people look confused when a wrinkly nose old tyme bulldog comes running.

I think Ziva (Zeeva) is a great name for a GSD.

Oh I don't let other people name my dogs or my babies!

The two GSDs I had were Sally and Jenny. Their KC names were tonguetwisting longwinded German names.
