Think I need to read the book, never heard of it before this adaptation so my understanding of it is totally wrong, if Id realised it was a book prior to watching it I wouldn't have bothered with it cos I must admit I prefer to read as I find the films of books do tend to be a bit of a let down don't they - like it's been said though even from the trailer it was a bit of a let down regardless of not Reading the book or seeing the original film version

My pal recorded it last night night so, am watching it at weekend one afternoon with them.

The 1968 version is meant to be really good.
