Hi Guys,
I am thinking about getting meg assessed as a PAT dog,
Does anybody have any Pat dogs on here and what's actually involved?

Don't have any actual experience but we've got a PAT dog at work in Learning Disabilities. Big lurcher called Benson who's lovely. I always carry gravy bones in my work coat now and he comes running over when he sees me.
I was speaking to his owner and it really seems to make a difference to the patients.
I think it's a great idea.

tob does pat work at a local hospital he visits the kids on the wards.
he loves the attention i'm proud of him and they get to smile when they are in for treatment, every one wins.
they make a huge difference to the ppl they visit and its worth it to see the smiles on others faces but you own them.
its a way of sharing your special dog with others.
