Really pleased with Meg

Hi all,
Had to go to the school to pick up the kids as Tom's been having a bit of trouble with a lad on the way home,so i thought i'd take Meg with me.She walked lovely at heel all the way there.We waited on the opposite side of the road away from the school gates.
I told her to sit and wait which she did,on my foot,
There was a lady with a dally who commented on how well she was behaved for such a young pup
She was approached by a lady with a child about 8 years and this little girl asked me if she could stroke meg,i was so pleased meg rolled over straight on her back for a belly rub! She's had lots of cuddles this afternoon and all the children asked.

I was so proud and pleased with her,not once did she even attempt to jump up.
Another few months and i may look into getting her assessed to be a PAT dog.She's so calm and placid around children and adults.

I wish otis was like that! he just jumps at everyone for kisses!

Do you think being that placid is taught, or do you think that its in her genes?

well done,you have obviously done everything right,i have now resorted to a water gun to stop wilma jumping up

I'm not sure Jodie,
She's not always been like it,she was really naughty as a puppy but now she's that bit older she's alot better.
She's always been fairly placid around people and kids though.
