Cheap digital cameras?

Advice please. i am not the most technical of people!
i want a new camera...just for fun snaps of the kids and dogs really.
the cheaper the better really but are the cheap ones (about £40) rubbish?
And where is the best place to go?

i have just been looking in the argos catalogue but is there somewhere better for a bargain?

Hmmmm, I think this is one of those areas where you gets what you pays for! Mine came from Pixmania.com, but I can't remember what it cost (more than £40, though ). Try "Pricerunner.co.uk" and look for a name you recognise. Somehow, I doubt that £40 is going to get you a lot

To buy I would look at Warehouse Express, they have good deals online.

When your looking for a point and click see if you can get one with more optical zoom than digital zoom. Digital zoom is a waste of time.

i know what your saying wish i could afford a decent camera but there is just too many other prioritys at the mo....so i have just gone and got the cheapest camera ever!!!
Will take some pics on our second walk later.....and you can see how crappy it is!!! Gotta laugh really!!

tescos do a cheap one for 29.99, its 3.2 ,, dont know wat its like as im bit dim on that stuff
