We too use Stronghold to prevent fleas and Drontal for worms.

If you are looking for a spot-on worming treatment for your cat, then there is one called Profender which does both round and tapeworm. It is a prescription only medicine so you can only get it from your vet.

I use this now, as recommended by my vet last month, seems to have worked wonders on my itchy dog! Good stuff, I will use it again

I to use Stronghold or Advocate which covers the same but manufactured by Bayer, I then use Drontal for tapeworm, Frontline like Advantage doesnt kill mites and I live where there is plenty of wildlife, foxes, badgers, etc, so like my dogs covered

Hi

I have used Stronghold before. My Collie x had mange & it was absolutely amazing for that he stopped scratching within 48hrs.

However i have a feeling that it is not just for the regular use of fleas etc. Frontline Combi is good, my vet gave it to me for my cat as that helps with worms as well.

Hope this is of some help
