Discovered a fantastic training book!

Thought I would share, as I just happened to stumble across it.

Its "How to Train a Superdog" by Gwen Bailey.

I must the admit the title put me off as I found it Supercheesy, but I realised it was by Gwen Bailey who wrote "The Perfect Puppy". Anyway, just had a flick through and there is some excellent advice in there, really easy to read (even for the not so keen family members).

...and its surprisingly comprehensive, most of the technique appears to be positive reward based too...lots of piccies of nice dogs and even a basic breed guide too.

does all the basics and then some more advanced fun stuff too, like taiking something to someone else in the house, advanced recalls, jumping etc....i'm going to leave it lying around for the family to browse

I haven't got this book but like a lot of the advice given by GB .

I say 'a lot' because I do have a copy of "The Perfect Puppy" and there are a couple of things in there that I don't agree with, but that's just me and in general I think the advice is good.

I will put HTTAS on my wish list

I've just ordered this from "The Book People" that bring discounted books to the workplace. They're selling it for £7 so if any of you have these people coming to your office it may well turn up in the pile!
