My Teenager!!!!!!

Does anyone know if dogs go through 'teen' years. Millie is one next month but she has started chewing my shoes, won't get out of bed and sulking when she doesn't get her own way!! it reminds me of my girls when they were teenagers (They didn't chew shoes, by the way). But did everything else. It's just that we know dogs don't reach adulthood till they are 2 or 3 years old (Sometimes older or never). boy is my Mill showing symptoms!!!

Hi Anne,

I haven't got my dog yet (and it looks like it's going to be longer...) but I do know that yes, they go through a teenage stage.

Good luck!

Could it be her comming into season?

Other than that they do go through stages that can be both annoying, heartbraking but also fun and proud moments.
One of the many joys of having a dog while its growing up
