Red Deer Stag - Loch Sunart

Spent the last few weeks up at Loch Sunart.

Plenty of roaring on the hills but this guy seemed content spending his time hanging about on the Loch shore.

Lovely time thanks. A week of blue sky and sunshine then a week of hurricane including horizontal hail and sleet

There were bigger Stags about so I doubt he'd lost a hareem. Possibly a challenger who had been sent packing and was taking some time out to reflect.

That said - by all accounts he's been about a lot. We saw him every day around the cottage so perhaps he's just found a spot he likes.
