any ideas how....

to rest a puppy with a strained foot ????

If shes put in the crate she screams the place down because she thinks shes missing out and Gus doesnt help as he keeps trying to get her to playfight with him and chase him about !

Helllllpppppp!

It's hard Lel. I remember trying to keep Storm quiet when she pulled a muscle in her back leg.

Can u put them both in the same crate? Maybe that way she won't feel as though she's missing anything.

will give it a go - although she tends to lie on Gus's head - much to his disgust

Sorry Lel no ideas here short of strapping her to the crate and gagging her lol.

Seriously though it does sound like a task as hard as it sounds as we all know how lively puppies can be. I take it you have tried some delicious treats for her in the crate, perhaps a stuffed Kong that will keep her occupied for a few hours? Usually dogs cant resist some cheese or bannana, or some dog (puppy) biscuts in the kong.

Sorry I couldnt help more.

Hi,

i agree, i would try putting Gus in with her to see if that calms her down so she knows she isnt missing out on anything or i would definately fill a Kong and give her that to keep her occupied for a while.

I know its really hard to get a pup to stay still, other than that i'm not sure what else you could try, sorry.

Hope her foot gets better real soon!

Ozzy xxx

Unfortunately I have no ideas to help u Lel altho I do know what ur going through. We were told to rest Jas after he broke his leg.

Yer right, 'staffords' and 'rest' are seldomn found in the same sentance let alone a 'stafford pup'
