Uh oh, you'd better be wearing waterproof mascara!

It's one of those films I can remember from my youth, when there were only three tv channels, and on rainy sunday afternoons an old film would be on.
I'd love them, I had to as there was nothing else on tv and I often think what a shame it is that children today can just change to another of 100's of channels as they miss so many great classics.

It's a brilliant movie, but yes, tissues required!

Which version have you got? I love the old one but non of fan of the new version as Bobby should be a Skye not a Westie The end bit always gets me and i often have a tissue at the ready especially as i have my very own little Bobby and she is just like him fearless in every way

I agree this is one film that shouldn't have been remade, its one of my favourites and i always go up to Greyfriars when i'm in Edinburgh to pay my respects to the little rascal who got me hooked on Skyes The only thing about the new one is the story is more accurate as John Grey was actually a police man not a farm hand as depicted in the book or first film but apart from that the old film is the best

Hope you enjoy it

It has to be one of the best doggie films ever made, and it's a true story, I don't think a re-make will ever be as good as the original, the gang and I watched it they love it, must say, anyone who watches it and has dry eyes at the end, aint got any emotions.

If you're ever in Edinburgh, go see the statue of Bobby.

Well I've just had the most perfect day.

Lovely walk with Marius, came back and surfed a bit on Dogsey. Made delicious Cumberland Sausage sarnie with chilli sauce, switched TV on to discover that this was starting in 5mins. So chuffed!

Yup bawled my eyes out, but loved every second of it:smt002

I love films like those, don't make 'em like that any more.
