Thanks for asking Dawn Yes, I have definitely seen an improvement in Flame's movement and also her whole demeanour on walks since starting the Previcox She is bouncing along again, and really enjoying her walks ... and more importantly, not suffering for them afterwards

Thanks Dawn - and thanks for suggesting previcox in the first place

Thanks Janet. Flame is suffering from spondylosis, but the meds certainly seem to be helping. She had another great run on the beach this morning and is now sleeping it off, but not showing any sign of discomfort.

Is she on synflex/synoquin or anything like that Kirsty? Or green lipped mussel? They can help, they did with Mo but didn't with Biff?

She was on Cortaflex Ailsa, but it made no difference

Aw. it didn't make any difference to Biff either, although it did wonders for Mo. One of our vets said that we are best giving Biff codliver oil or evening promrise oil and it does help him (when he can take anything that is.) He said synflex etc was like putting all the right building materials in...but with no builder.
Glad she's improved on the previcox though, it's funny how different dogs do better on different drugs, again that did nothing for biff...but the Rimadyl does. Weird...Rimadyl did nothing for Mo but the Metacam did.
