Whining

I don't know where to put this...but I need help!

Teagan will not stop whining!!
She wakes me up in the night whining. I check her over, let her outside, go back to bed, and she will sleep.
I get up in the morning, feed her, she eats, comes to me, and whines.
She lays down and whines, she follows me and whines.
I am giving her attention, but as soon as I stop, she whines (she can be sitting next to me and still whines).

Nothing in our daily routines has changed.
She is eating/drinking/toiletting normally.
I have checked her over, and can't find anything amiss.
This has been going on for about 3 or 4 days now.

But she won't stop!!

Honestly Hevvur it could be anything - is she intact? Could she be due a season?

Could also be the weather - we could be due a nasty storm and she's picking up on it. Some dogs are extremely sensitive to changes in atmospheric pressure.

If it puts your mind at ease, maybe give the vets a ring.

She has been spayed, so it's not that!
When are we due a strom? Weather reports nothing like that here

I don't feel my vets would help without there actually being 'something' wrong with her. That, or they would put her on anti-biotics 'just in case'!

Dogs eh!

You are quite sure that she is in no pain or discomfort? She is eating, drinking, eliminating, normally? Exercising normally, no unusual lethargy? Behaviour, apart from the whining, normal?

If she is just attention seeking then ignore her. If you suspect something is not quite right physically then consult your vet.

If she is well then may be there is an intact bitch in the area that is in season or about to be so, spayed bitches behave in some strange ways and it could be that her lack of hormone has triggered some reaction to something that an intact bitch would understand and ignore.

If she is a dobe then it is a breed trait - they all do it

I can't find any pain/sores/disocmfort on her body.
She is eating/drinking/going to the toilet normally!
Everything is the same apart from the whining!

I have tried ignoring her, but she does it for ages sometimes, and I can't help it, but it gets on my nerves
