Scruffts?

I am considering entering my dog into Scruffts but he can be slightly dog "aggressive" (mainly with staffies and if dogs suddenly run up to him) but he is usually okay if he meets another dog properly. I have taken him to a fun dog show before and although he was slightly growly at first he soon settled down and just ignored the other dogs (and won his class). So I am undecided whether it will be worth entering him into two of the classes. I know one of the requirements is the dog has good temperament with people and dogs but once he has calmed down there would be no sign of any aggression. I think the last fun show we attended helped him with his problem as well so I feel it would be good to get him around dogs again. What do you think?

It does say on the website the dogs got to be dog friendly and people friendly. If you go the kennel club scruffts page all the info there.

Thinking of coming to the London Pet Show one, only seen the info today. He is usually okay when he gets used to dogs being around, its only the initial meeting dogs that he gets a bit nervous and growly and once he knows he wont be attacked he calms down and will happily meet and play with dogs so I am still undecided. Might enter him into the other fun show this year and see how he gets on, he is about 7 now so if all goes well I can try Scruffts next year and enter him into Golden Oldies and the Rescue categories

Lps is really busy , its inside with no let up of people or dogs,Also cats and other small furries which can be avoided if you stay in the back of the hall.
