Is your doggie getting old?? Your best friend?

Best Friends:

Youthful years have slipped away
The old man and his dog
They have a special bonding
That needs no dialogue

The chase is just a memory
But how they used to run
When hearts and legs were stronger
And games were such great fun

Now the pace is slower
For the master and his mate
If one lags to far behind
The other stops to wait

Somethings we cannot change
Like aging and the weather
But true friends are quite content
Just growing old together

I found this comforting when my grandmas dog was aging rapidly. Its just nice to relax you with your doggie getting old. xx

Thats a tear jerker

Mind you, it forgot to mention the fact that some old dogs (not mentioning no names but he knows who he is ) become cantankerous old g*ts! And f*rt for England! And chase the young dogs off their food! And hog the fire! and steal ham!
