I know someone with several Gsds and she uses this method and all her dogs are quiet. She does reward them/praise them also for non reactive behaviour.Wys

I use the water method sometimes too, mine hate water so i dont even have to spray it, just have it in my hand

Funny thing I was talking to a guy the other day who was mistified as to why his dog was missbehaving far more than usual the past couple of weeks
After a while he figured it out
When the dog was 'bad' he got a squirt of water - and as the weather has been major hot he realised that if he did something bad he got cooled down - clever thing!
