That is really really sad poor little pup.

YOu mentioned maybe taking one of the litter sisters, i would be concerned that this heart problem maybe something that the other pups are effected with. Do you know what exactly was wrong with him? Will they be doing a post mortem?

Please think hard before you decide on wether to take the other pup.I know you had chosen a male....if a male would be better for you then maybe you should wait?

This crossed my mind too, I am discussing that with the breeder and will not be rushing into a decision until we are sure the rest are ok and have been given the all clear. Here's hoping!

Yes, fingers crossed. I would be very very cautious. Maybe you could ask to speak to the vet independently rather than hearing it through the breeder.

(Sorry if you know the breeder) but i think if it was me i would want to be able to question the vet and get the whole story so i could make a really educated decision.

Horrible thing to have to be going through when you were so looking forward to bringing your new little pup home.
