I dunno, I just have to bite my tongue I guess and give her what advice I can. I can't make her change her ways - so annoying

Sadly you can explain to someone until you are blue in the face, if they don't want to hear what you say, they won't - or they come up with all the excuses under the sun.
And you're left feeling you could have helped the dog, "if only" . Happened to me recently and the dog was pts - and its a horrible feeling.
Our dogs who are loved and cherished are indeed the lucky ones *hugs*
