Cani-cross

Hello everyone
are any of you involved with Canine cross country running? Derived from the Scandinavian dog sledding community.

People run cross country - dogs wear a harness - helps people get fit and is easier than simply running because the dogs helps by pulling.

I am fostering a dog for charity who would be ideal for this sport, he is short haired, 22 inches at shoulder and has been trained to pull whilst wearing a harness. He is a good strong dog and runs well with loads of stamina.. He also trained to walk to heel in a normal collar and lead.

Let me know if anyone considers the possibility of offering him a home, I am based in West Yorkshire.

This certainly isn't a new sport.. its been going on for quite a while in the sled dog community.. in fact there are classes for it at most rallies

I do cani-cross for weenies with my dog. Great fun and great excercise.

That is a lovely pup! Hope he finds his forever home soon.
